A contemporary Chardonnay that brings together all of the elegance and finesse that characterize the great white Burgundies, at a reasonable price. A cuvée boasting remarkable complexity through which we affirm our expertise in terms of vinification, blending and knowledge of Burgundy’s terroirs.
The grapes selected for this cuvée originate from two different areas. Some are from the Côte d’Or (principally the Côte de Beaune and the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits) and were selected for their elegance, freshness and minerality. They are complemented by a selection of wines from the heights of the Mâconnais for their roundness and fruitiness.
VINFICATION AND AGEING
The Côte d’Or wines (65%) were, for the most part, vinified in the style of the great white Burgundies and barrel-aged at our winery, with stirring in order to lend depth, structure and elegance. The grapes from the Mâconnais (35%) were vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks in order to preserve all of their freshness and fruit. The final blend bears our house signature.
Superb pale gold in colour. Expressive nose redolent of citrus, lemon and orange blossoms along with a hint of barley sugar and white chocolate. Fresh and taut on the palate, revealing notes of melted butter, frangipane and hazelnut.
